I established V-Sec in January 2000. Previously I was involved in jointly running a successful garage door business with my husband - Johnston's Doors

I have secretarial and administrative qualifications, and a wide range of experience in providing diverse services to both individuals and businesses. It was through dealing with many businesses on the Internet that it became apparent to me that some do not possess the onsite staff necessary to cope with the increased demands of E-commerce. As a Virtual Assistant I am able to assist businesses remotely by receiving assignments via email, fax, telephone or mail.

Over the past three and a half years my client list has varied from local people with limited assignments to multi-national corporations which I act for on a daily basis. My work is as varied as my client list and ranges from typing faxed letters to total virtual office management for company directors; from statistical analysis of data to country manager's presentations. I take great pride in providing an invaluable service to my clients and I particularly enjoy facilitating effective international communication.

In April 2000 I formed an alliance with two other Virtual Assistants: Irene Boston of IB Secretarial Services and Diane Chapman of Iceni-It . Together we founded a free resource site for UK Virtual Assistants Alliance of UK Virtual Assistants
